Growing up, once I realized I wasn’t good enough to play on the PGA Tour I thought the next coolest thing would be to be a caddy on the PGA Tour. I still think it would be pretty damn cool… however that was until this past week at the RBC Heritage when I saw what Kip Henley, caddy to Brian Gay, had to do for his boss. That would be to shoo away a rather large alligator from his player’s ball from the greenside bunker of the 15th hole. Gay would go on to bogey the hole, but Henley may live on in caddy lore forever for doing something I certainly wouldn’t have… certainly not for Brian Gay.
