When the 2012 Ryder Cup gets under way this Friday at Medinah Golf Club in Chicago, IL, there will be four fresh faced Ryder Cup rookies teeing it up for the US squad, and one for the European team. Team USA rookies include two Major Champions (Keegan Bradley and Webb Simpson), a guy fresh off of winning $11.4 million in the FedEx Cup (Brandt Snedeker), and a shaggy haired, club waggling 2-time winner in the 2012 season (Jason Dufner). On the European side it will be the extremely long hitting Nicolas Colsaerts who started to make a name for himself this year on this side of the pond.
With all the pressure of the Ryder Cup it’s easy to see how a rookie may not deal well with all of that weight on their shoulders. It’s always interesting to see how they respond to it while playing for their country.
Which 2012 Ryder Cup rookie do you think will make the biggest impact for their team?
