This past Saturday PGA Tour golden boy Rickie Fowler was partaking in Red Bull’s Capital Drive on the DC waterfront. Today Rocco Mediate ended an eight year winless drought on the PGA Tour with a 1-stroke victory over Bo Van Pelt to win the Frys.com Open. Mediate’s last victory came at the Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic in 2002. He now has six career PGA Tour victories.

You have to know scoring conditions are good when your threesome group shoots a combined -23. Think about that for a second… -23 from 3 players! The players that made up that ridiculous score were Jason Day (63), Zach Johnson (63), and Ryan Palmer (64).
